Hey!

Started gathering the things I'll need to restore my Track and Field cocktail come spring. I am trying to find a decent woodgrain laminate / vinyl for the sides. Anybody restore one in the past and have a source?

Here's the original side(not mine):

I am currently looking at these two from Wilsonart:

I'm in the same situation with mine. I've been trying to find a matching (or close) woodgrain melamine to cut new sides. I found a cabinet supply place that carries a product called flakeboard that would work, but they don't carry the color that most closely matches. It's tough to match the original look because it's so out of date and out of style. Most of the vinyl out there that is commonly used for Midway cabarets, etc. isn't wide enough.

Good to know someone else is in the same boat. I'll post here if I find anything. The two I posted above, the lighter Oak at least sorta fits the bill.

I'm trying to avoid going this route, but if I end up doing standard particle board and laminate, there is this from Wilsonart (spotted in the Super Pac cocktail resto thread):

It matches the grain pretty well, but I don't think it's available in a "vertical grade" thickness. That's a must or the edge will show outside of the t-molding.

You can just buy wider t-molding. 13/16" is perfect!

It is! Also available as a re-cover!
