Anyone know what kind of cab(s) this came in, or have any pics of a cab? What other cabs can run the board? Has anyone seen ANY parts from this game in person before? Thanks

Pretty sure it only came in conversion kit form in Japan, possibly as a dedicated generic Namco cocktail cab. The control panels would've been white with blue/grey stripes and a Namco logo, with yellow joysticks.

Ah, I know what cab you're talking about!

Where those Japan only? Is there any way to find one?

I may have a lead on a Druaga board but I want a cab to run it in... preferably original. (It was actually just a conversion kit for the generic Namco cocktail, I think, but it does look exactly like the others and the one you described).

Yeah they were Japan-only (maybe parts of Europe). There was also likely a "pop" display that would fold up and sit on top of the game with Tower of Druaga artwork on it. Seems like I've seen that somewhere before.

EDIT: found it

Haha, oh yeah, those! I've seen those around before, they're pretty funny... "NEW!" in big letters :p

I guess I'll need to look around... I did a little looking and those are indeed Japan only. If I'm going that route I may best look for a full machine instead of just the board (though I haven't had any luck on that front, ever, haha). Is that CP/POP yours?

Cool, sounds like a good project! Nope, I found the pic of the CP somewhere online. Seems to be the generic type of setup Namco used on their cocktail machines. I added the pic of the "pop" in my last post.

Ah, I've never seen a good quality pic of that "pop"! So 3D and cool, makes me wish we had those on our games, haha. I guess they would have been stolen all the time in our arcade environments.

Thanks for all your help with this! It's ironic that the most sadistically difficult game of all time is the most sadistically difficult to obtain, haha. :)
