I have a gen 3 here I just went through .... pc was sent out and repaired and came back with a new hdd installed with fresh load of gen 3 software . I'm giving the box a few day test here in the shop before it goes out ..... after it boots up it'll freeze and lock up after a while .... originally it was after 15-20 min ..... TT tech support told me to do a ram test and if it passes reinstall software ...... ram passed so I reinstalled software ... get it online and it's downloading and updating the library like a mofo .... I can't baby it so it's checked every few hours ... but after a period of time I'll go over to it and it'll show no activity on the cat 5 screen will be stuck on the last screen it locked up on ....... touch the screen, cycle the sleep button no change ...... only thing to do it hard reboot then it comes back on ..... when it's in the state and I view it on my op dashboard it shows as off line .... anyone ever have this prob ???

it is flooding the cat5 to the tt server
+u may have a bad hard drive
these can be replaced easily
as they are sata,all mine are 160 gig
i pass them through a low level scan and listen for a tick/tick clunk/clunk.
how ever i do not do it in the juke box
i remove the bay and hook it to my coumpter external usb to sata and run
parition magic mini 9.1 >it is free<
and scan for error's
the reason i state this is for exactley for the reasons u are stateing

That hdd was just replaced when the puter was sent out for repair ....as of right now it's been on for the last 12 hours and working fine but I want this to run at leaSt 2-3 days with no issues before it goes out . This locations is 100 mi from home base
Maybe it's still pulling updates to fix bugs

the up-dates
a=do not fix "bug's"
b=touchtunes >cannot give u a proper read< on this unit untils it stops "up-dating"
sorry bud but out of my 12 unit's
the hard drive was bad in 3 of them >exact same problem<
it comes from a bad copy when the repair shop copyed over your orignal hard drive
u have to understand the orignal hardrive carried your juke id
which matchs your key fob >the box where u plug the remote into<
unless u do a >setup>reset all>factory reset
u will have nothing but this problem
if u have more then 1 gen 3 ? u are lucky
there is a trick
takes 1.2 hrs to do
trust me i have done it.
so please
