Touchmaster TEST button not functioning and no sound.

Hi guys, I bought a pre-owned Midway Touchmaster Infinity from eBay and it arrived with no sound and the TEST button behind the coin box doesn't seem to be functioning either. I tried to touch the bottom left of the screen at the Attract screen but that doesn't work as well.

Someone have this problem before? Is there any other way I can access the menu without this TEST button or the bottom left screen touch? Thanks

Is it a dedicated Midway Touchmaster or a conversion of a Merit Megatouch game? That makes a difference as the wiring is different.

Check the power supply to be sure all voltages are present. Also, the power supply tends to develop cold solder joints at the male header pins.

The midway infinity doesn't use a power supply like the the midway 8000's use. You can check the wiring diagram by checking the manual here:

Thanks, wen't though the diagram and all the cable seem to connected correctly.
Is there a way to test if the Dolphin board are working properly? Or any other way to get to the menu without that test button?

Thanks again

What happens (if anything) when you hit the CAL button ?
(touchscreen calibration)

Have you tried re-seating the riser card and connectors where the button wiring harness plugs in ?

Nothing happen with CAL or TEST when pressed. Riser card? The ISA Dolphin board? If it's, did that too.

Yeah, the Dolphin board AND the one that it plugs into.
(the Dolphin board plugs into the "riser" board)

When it boots up, does it show any kind of microcontroller error ?
(like "no controller found" or something, but then it continues to boot)

Been a while since I've actually been into mine, trying to recall things from memory.

Thanks Kevin, I think the Dolphin board are bad, when I put a little pressure at the end of the card it automatically go the the menu, sound are confirmed that it's on in the menu but still no sound. You know where I can get one of these board? I just realized that the coin and bill acceptor doesn't work either. It just took the bill and quarter but not credit the machine.

David over at www.themegatouchstore.com might know of a source for Infinity parts.
He does Megatouch pretty much exclusively, but might be able to point you in the right direction at least.

Just hope that it's not a motherboard issue of sorts.
