After 1 year, I finally got my game into my basement. I'd like to touch-up the rear of the cab side where the blue patch is at the top of the cab, it has many scratches there. Is there a certain name for this color blue? Where would I be able to find it? Thanks!

i went to wal mart and bought a kids paint set and mix my own colors to match. or, i bring a paint chip to home depot and they can color match too. the black they matched for me had white in it but when it dried the white was gone. perfect match.

I'm not one to mix colors myself, so I'll go with the paint chip instead. Thanks for the good idea.

It's on wheels. Roll it into Home Depot for a color match. :D

(Yes, I know you have to get it out of your basement.)

i have found the hard way hd or lowels suck for paint matching their eye is usualy dirty ad nasty so oyu never get perfect match the you have to guess if you need egg shell or simi gloss

go to a sherwin willams store they do a 48 hour deal where they guarntee a match
drop off your paint chip (needs to be at least the size of a quarter same as home depot)
48 hours later they will have your paint ready and its gaurnted to be a perfect match

Ive been approach several times about selling some touch up inks
hard to get good "paint" matches to the orginal silkscreened inks.
Apples and oranges
I could sell sets that would include most base pantone colors Atari used
which could be mixed with other colors to achieve most of the color palletes used
Which would be ideal for touch-ups on sideart especailly Ataris which were silkscreened on vinyl.

example yellow and red=orange and yellow and blue=green, etc.
and would also include white and black for lighten and darkening.
Since its impossible to provide speciffic matches for colors on any given cab due to its age, fading, etc.

Im currently looking for a source to buy empty model paint jars in bulk for these

Also, bear in mind that colors fade over time, varied based on how much UV or other light they were exposed to... As a Graphic Designer, I hate color matching!!! No one's ever happy.
