Hey guys, I just moved my top speed cabinet from one house to another. When I went to plug it in I get nothing at all. one of the outlets has those reset buttons on it and that outlet will pop whenever I try to turn the game on, what does this mean? Also I never once see the light on the powersupply light up, not even for a second. The game worked 5 minutes before the move to a new house 5 minutes away. Could this just be a fuse? It doesnt look blown but I know that doesnt mean its fine. Any ideas? I also have tried another outlet in that house with no luck either. I havent tried to plug it directly into the outlet with the reset button, only another outlet that was nearby

Outlets with GFI reset can be problematic sometimes with games. It's unclear in your post whether the other outlet you tried was also GFI. Have you checked the circuit breaker for those outlets yet? Sometimes games draw more amps than what the breaker is rated for.

Otherwise, open it up and check over all the connections. For all you know, a loose screw in the cab rolled around during the move and lodged against a PS connection...

It is not likely a fuse. Check the iso and surrounding areas for anything that could cause a possible short. Also, have you tried plugging anything else into that outlet? It is possible the outlet is wired wrong and plugging the machine in is causing the breaker to trip. Finally, you can disconnect the monitor, marquee light, and switcher. Plug the machine in and turn it on. If it does not trip the breaker place each of the disconnected parts online (reconnect them to the power), one at a time and see if the breaker trips.

well the outlet I tried wasnt the GFI but was tied into it, I didnt want to move this thing around to much to get to that outlet which was across a 30ft room. I can move it if you suggest I try that. In the circuit breaker box it states that as a 15 so idk if that matters or not. I opened it and checked for all connections as well and nothing was loose. Nothing is rolling around in the bottom of the cab either.

I tried another outlet but with a surge protector and it did not work at all, the surge protector light stayed lit the whole time and worked since we plugged a small desk lamp in to make sure.

The game is in a big garage that has like 8 other outlets including the 1 GFI. I tried 2 which tripped the GFI, I havent used the GFI one yet I need a legit extension cord which I now have access to. The game is at my girlfriends house and I didnt have anything there.

I think I want to check the fuse anyways because I feel it might have gone after trying all this stuff. It couldnt hurt

Im just confused because I get not a blink from the power supply light. Could this also be a power cord issue? Its an old one has the ground plug still but its old
