In Helping a Buddy of mine get his top speed back up and running. the 10 pin Molex connector had some wires not connected correctly. as the back story goes he transported the game home and had the Anode pop off. we could get game sounds and it would play blind but no screen. His WG 19K7000 series monitor has been completely rebuilt now when the game is plugged in the monotor works but no game image or sound. my question is on the 10 pin connector where should the Black and white wire from the PCB be placed in the connector.

looking at the plug from left to right theres 1-red gun, 2 green gun, 3 blue gun, 4 ground pin, 5 +vert sync, 6 + Horz sync, 7 NO pIN, 8 Ground, 9 - Vert sync, 10 - Horz Sync.

or by having the black and white wire in the wrong position did we damage the board some how?
thank you for you help in advance. Jason W.

you probably need to be using the neg. sync pins....but you should have a picture even with the wires on the positive sync lines.....just the picture will be rolling diagonally. Look on the monitor chassis and turn up the brightness control...if you don't see something on the screen, then try turning up the screen control on the flyback, which is the large item on the chassis with the big red wire going up to the tube....you should atleast have a white screen with no picture information.

you didn't damaged anything by having the wires wrong....you just wont have a proper picture. You have the correct pin out of the monitor video connector, now do you know what sync the game produces to make the picture? Sometimes the game uses composite sync where the wires are placed together in one pin to produce the picture....

good luck

alright we have a crisp bright picture. Its now upside down and backward (inside out) all of the RED BLU Yellow, green wires to the guns are plugged in correctly to the correct readings on the chassis. I am totally stumped here.

we tried swapping the green and yellow wires on the chassis. to get the picture to turn right side up and backwards but when I did that the screen was Black with a bold yellow line running through it. Swapping the red and blue around did nothing. the connector was cut in half that is why we were able to flip the two colors around instead of it being one solid connector for the guns.
