top draw poker machine, please help

or at least let me know the model of this machine so i can look up the manual. i looked on google for top draw poker manuals but i couldn't find any. i am new to this so i can't find what i am looking for.

THat's a poker manufactured by SMS or Kramer ( they are both simular ). I'd start off by looking for those.

i found out that this machine is old and is from the 1980s so it is hard to find the manual online. i can't find it on ebay neither. anyone here knows how to program it? the game works but i would like to change some settings.
thanks for the help

I'm pretty sure you should have an 8-dip switch bank on the board. I'll post the settings later when I find the manual but they will change the %, plays per coin, min bet for jokers, etc.

I know I have a manual for the machine at home. You honestly don't need to find a specific Top Draw manual, just a standard SMS manual.

I can also get you the info you need in case coinopshop can't find it.

My apologies for how crude of a write-up this is, but this should help you.

When you turn on the machine, there should be a continuous, steady tone for about 2-3 seconds, and then it boots. If you turn it on and there are random tones beeping, then there's a wiring/voltage issue. Mine has already beeped wildly when the daughterboard wasn't tight on the motherboard.

Thanks Ripweade for posting these i have searched for a long time for them.
I appreciate it.

connected up the extra 12v at 47 but still a no go for any of the pcbs
all give a continuous steady tone but nothing on screen and tone never stops.

pcbs still expect something connected apart from power and monitor
before it will boot.
just have to figure out what.

thanks for pinouts they will help

Definitely something isn't right. If your board has a daughter board (which Top Draws do), make sure it is seated TIGHTLY into the spot. Also make sure that the chips on the daughterboard are the right ones.

I once swapped around some chips to turn it into a different pokie (which can be done) but must've mixed up the chips. Flipped the switch and beeeeeeeeeeeeeee.... Non-stop tone. Put the chips back to the right ones and it worked.

Also, use a voltmeter to make sure you have the proper +5 and +12 voltage flowing. These boards can be touchy about that.

Don't give up! You will get it figured out!

Thanks for the info bill.
these pcbs don't have addon boards, all eproms are on the main pcb.

Is their anything missing from the bottom of those pinouts
numbers go a bit off at the bottom 59 and 62 are missing :O

Did the manual for these boards also contain the schematics ?
looking to get a manual for these sms/kramer pcbs.
have a lot of other poker pcbs that were based on these types of boards.

so wondering was schematics printed in the manual or are they a seperate thing.

Poker

That machine looks familiar. LOL I have probably touched it. The seller is a good guy. That is a good price on it also.
