I'm currently trying to convert a crazy kong II to a crazy kong.I have burned new roms but the colours are off so I also need to replace the proms.
I am using a gal22v10 and making an adaptor as desribed on a retroclinic page but now I have found that my top853 programmer doesn't support this device.Looking at the listing for my programmer it does say it supports the 22v10 but I figure I need updated software but none that I can find either work properly (TOPWINEN) or support the chip (TOPWIN VER 6.43).

Is it possible to program this chip with my top853 or will I need a new programmer?

the tl866cs will do the gal22v10 -- BUT make sure its not gal22v10d-15lp anything above -15lp wont burn

I can do the gal22v10-10lp with the tl866 but if I put a -15lp in it.. no go.

Using the TL866CS for 22V10s sucks.
It erases the part, goes through the motions of programming the part, it says the part verifies... yet when you go to use the part - it is still blank. I bought a 'real programmer' and never looked back.

One person said it won't work with 15's but will work with the faster ones. That would be a software bug.
Extreme majority of the Lattice parts out there are -15LPs.
