I am no carpenter by any means and have very, very few tools, but I would like to start gathering together the tools it would take to make a replica cabinet from scratch. What kind of woodworking stuff, drills, etc would I need?

I.E. Tools for Building and repairing cabs!

thank you

Let's see, Router, Circular Saw, Jigsaw, & Drill at least. Some sharp chisels and glue will be handy as well as clamps, lots of clamps.

Might want to check out BYOAC: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/
They have a woodworking forum there.

i bought a 5 X 10 cnc machine to make em, hell with all that manual labor lol so, where you from anyways?

One of the more frustrating basic things is cutting a perfect straight edge on a sheet of 3/4" ply or MDF. Sounds simple, but you'll need a straightedge jig for a circular saw. I made one, but finally sprung for a Grizzly cabinet saw. It's overkill, but I plan to get into more woodworking later.

A 16ga nailer would be useful.

No such thing as overkill. :)
