Hey guys, i have a really nice toobin.
Only real flaw in the machine is that the sideart on one side of the control panel was messed up.

Order (and received) the art from this old game.
Peel off the side art (the white was messed up too) and go to install the new art and i didn't realize it wasn't printed on a white background.

The white seems to have a little texture to it.

The game is pretty nice, so i'd like to keep it close.
Anyone know what the white actually is?
Thanks,
Joe

Same question was asked 7 years ago and no one apparently knew...

I have to fix my gators on my control panel too and I was just planning on filling gouges, sanding, priming, painting white and then applying the new gator decals. I wasn't going to go for a totally smooth surface though, because like you said, there is definitely some texture in the white surface...whatever that material may be.

I ordered some ball chains of laminate samples for matching this kind of stuff.

Need to find a Nevamar set though, they probably have more variety on solid colors than Wilsonart.

Thanks guy,
I'm the worlds worst painter, but it turns out i'm pretty decent with vinyl.

So i went down and took a closer look. Including peeling the sideart off the vinyl from the control panel.

Looks like the vinyl on the cabinet side art is not textured (or at least with a close look with a flashlight it doesn't look it)
After pulling the art off the white vinyl from the control panel it's not really as textured as i thought. The filth and dirt exacerbates all the grooves. While it is for sure textured, it's not all that evident.

What color white would you say is under the cabinet side art?
I'll just buy some of that.
Matte white?

Used some matt white from VVivid off amazon.
Like $30 (and i have a ton left over).
Went on real easy and fast.
Looks great.
It's slightly brighter than the main cab side art, but i guess that's to be expect on a 30 year old machine.
