Just an FYI for all interested parties...

I responded I would buy them and for the OP to give me his Paypal address. I PM'd him before even posting about having mail. You can see from the time stamp, even that was only 5 minutes. OP messages back and doubled the price on me to $120 because of all the "interest"...still said I was first in line to buy them. Then 2 hours later he messages me that they are sold. Guess I got screwed twice by the seller in the same for sale post.

Looks like the OP is trying to do the right thing! :) Good on ya!

Uhhhh... not really.

The original title of the post was (and still is-because once submitted, it cannot be edited): "Tons of firearms!!!! $60 shipped!!!!"

The post was edited (2 hours after the post from Les Manley) by the OP at 12:58 PM to say, among other things: "Tons of firearms!!!! $120 shipped!!!!"

So, it seems quite believable that the OP bumped up the price after getting a lot of responses and realizing he had undervalued his stuff.

He's under no obligation to sell to anyone in particular but a vague apology offering Les Manley the right of first refusal at double the original asking price AND offering no explanation for the price increase seems a bit sketchy.

So, bottom line, if you aren't sure what you would find acceptable for your stuff... why not simply throw it out there as "make me an offer"?

I actually like posts like this because they tell me how to treat certain folks when they want to buy something from ME. ;-)

I had to do a double take as I noticed the price increase, too. I swore it said 60.

I hate when people say "make me an offer," because they know exactly what they have in mind--as much as they can possibly get. Many times they want to see if a fish will overpay without them getting flak from listing an overpriced number.

But make sure you research the value before you put a set price up, it's not fun as a buyer to PM and have the story change.

I didnt mean any disrespect and yes you re exactly right I should have made make me offer and didnt want to make it shidd bidding.. I just hurried and throw them in here and didnt realize 4 respond in 10-15 minutes and I was like WTF! I prefer sell to someone serious enough to buy them and I admit I am that greedy for my time so I double it up and they bought anyway..

number one.

I should have waited for les to respond if he want it at the price or move on!.. then i could move to another buyer who are in line. that s big mistake I made.

I replied to him and apologize and offer him that I will sell to him if he still interested but he decide to back out and I dont blame him for that.

Lesson learned !

No worries with me. You've stepped up and admitted your change of heart on the price. I'm cool with that. Thanks for doing that.

Theres the other MMAO reason - I have some stuff up that id take anything worth my time to ship it, if they want to pick it up, just take it out of my way, bring me a coffee or something and its yours! Eventually, I tossed stupid prices on it ($2, $5 ect), but I just want it gone :)

He has first dib at 60 and 120 but he rather stay out of it. I should have researched the price before posting! hate do the homework since high school =) again my bad!

cya!..
