Picked this up from my old friend Louis aka Louisurfer. Thanks Buddy. Also got a box of working boards (told they were working =)) 3 space duel boards, a gravitar board, extra black widow board and major havoc board. Tested the MH board and it works, other still have to be tested and will be for sale.

Recent Pick up

Picked these up about a week ago and forgot to post, also picked up a tron but did not want to dig it out for pics. Side art on the MH was painted over, tried to strip it but it started taking the original paint off so I pulled the artwork off. Cabinet is in very good shape though with no broken corners or any damage. Tempest is pretty clean also. MH conversion will be for sale (because I have a converted gravitar), board that came with it did not work but I did just get a working board so I could probably get it going if the offer is right. I believe the game is a factory conversion because the monitor was placed in there extremely nice and it has a MH factory sticker over the tempest sticker, also has a fan installed. I'll get more detailed pics to any interested parties.

Citristrip

Ahhhh, Atari vectors, love 'em.
So how did the Citristrip work out?

I tried it but it pulled some of the artwork off in the line areas. Oh well thanks for the tip, I would'nt hesitate to try it on another cab after seeing how that food fight cab of yours turned out. Hope the marquee works out as well.

Nice pickup Kalan! I used regular stripper on Atari artwork before which instantly made the black ink fall off the vinyl. The orange citrus stuff always worked for me but you can't leave it on too long. After the citrus strip I wipe it down with some lacquer thinner to clean the paint haze off the art. Unfortunately the white areas of Atari side art never is white but usually grey after the cleanup.
