I never thought I'd find one of these in a million years locally, but luck was on my side and I almost hit the floor when I saw a Liberator come up on Craigslist within 20 miles from my house.. and it looked to be in very nice shape and at a price I couldn't refuse!
I has just sat down after dinner and decided to do a quick search, and low and behold the ad has just been posted within 30 minutes. I called the guy and asked if I could come take a look at it right then (wanted to snag it quick so it didn't get grabbed out from underneath me) and I was off in less than 5 minutes from my house with cash in hand.
When me and my buddy pulled up I was surprised at how nice it was- It's complete, matching numbers, and it appears to have been taken care of. Artwork is nice, has some very slight flaking of the art on upper left corner, but it's minor considering how nice the cab is. No water damage or wood damage to be seen, either, and the leg levelers were intact and kept the cab up off the ground.
The guy bought it with several other games a few years ago and had it in his garage with some other titles I didn't care for (Qiz, Mr. Do., and a few others) and also had a few spare parts for Gravitar laying around, which I also snagged for a nice price!
Overall, a very nice grab, I haven't had a good arcade haul in a while so I am very happy!
