I am just finishing up a beautiful Theater of Magic that I'm looking to trade for a very nice/collector-quality TSPP, or will also consider selling.

This game is extremely clean and almost all original, with the exception of a few things I added: new trunk, all new pop bumper skirts, new slingshot plastics, rebuilt GI connector, new decal on the trunk magnet, new legs/levelers/bolts. The cabinet art appears to be completely unblemished and gorgeous. There are probably only a handful of minor things to do in order to make this machine a "collector quality" game, such as repaint the door, which has a few scuffs and re-plate the two wireforms which show some small tarnishing in spots typical for the machine.

This game also appears to have the two goodie bags in it with the promo plastics and other items including the service power plug, and amazingly enough, what appear to be *complete records* of the games played/money collected from the moment it was purchased until it was sold to its last owner who had it before I picked the game up. It is NOT drilled for a lock bar. There's no smell of smoke - the game appears to have been very well maintained - It's a domestic game - NOT an import. I believe this game was originally purchased and owned by the US Navy and was in some sort of game room on the base, before it was purchased by a serviceman and then sold to me. This is the nicest ToM I've come across. It's actually nicer than the one in my collection but since I moved mine up a big flight of stairs, I'm not swapping them, so I'm looking to trade this for a TSPP. The machine is located in New Orleans. Drop me a PM if you are interested and want more details.

I know I should have left everything stock but I couldn't resist putting the latest Cointaker LEDs in the playfield - this game looks so awesome with them in it!

Note how the cool white LEDs in the playfield make it pop, verses the incandescents in the backbox...

Dang. I love having operator records and stuff like that so that's really cool. Great looking machine!

Thanks.. if you know anyone with a TSPP, let me know.

Let me add a few more things.. there are no cracks in any of the ramps. There is NO WEAR anywhere on the playfield that I can find. There's not even wear around the chest hole (which is extremely odd, however when I got the game, the proximity sensor for the chest needed adjustment, which meant the chest wasn't working and it didn't get used much - this just caused the decal on the chest magnet to get beat up a bunch but I fixed all that, replaced the decal and the game works like the day it rolled off the line). There appears to be 0-day extra mylar over the outlanes where the ball drops and those areas look really nice. The machine is a bit dusty and could still be cleaned up more, but it plays super fast and tight. I'm hoping for a quick trade because I don't really have room for it.

I have a very nice TSPP I am willing to trade but live in California never shipped a machine before let me know if you are interested.I can send pics of my machine.

*beautiful* machine and a very cool background story, dude. best of luck w/ your sale or trade. wish i had more $ saved, but alas, not there yet...

Wait, you're trading a pin for a pin, but you don't have room for it? :p

Pins are like Jell-o. There's always room.

If I knew someone that had a TSPP, I'd either be harassing them to come over and play it a lot, or sell it to me on a payment plan. ;)

These abbreviations have got to go. TSPP? How the heck are people supposed to derive Simpsons from that? Sorry for the rant but it is the single most ridiculous thing about the pinball community in my opinion. ;P

Good luck with the trade though, Theatre of Magic is a great piece, tough to let go...

The worst is when people use the acronyms in person..."Tee Ess Pee Pee" ...dude, just say "Simpsons" for fucks sake. :)

I've had numerous people talking about pinball to me (from when I lived in California even) that have done that with weird stuff like Arabian Nights...

Those wanted posts on Mr. Pinball for people that want certain pins for trade read like alphabet soup...

I WANT a MBIJTOTANCFBLWH20WW, etc

Whirlwind and White Water are the worst to me though....when I found out Wh2O meant White Water I nearly kicked something because of how ludicrous this all is

So..If I just say 'Simpsons' how exactly are you supposed to know which one?

Stern or Data East?

You say Simpsons Pinball Party? lol

It's not like they are called the same thing.

What about Donkey Kong Jr?

If someone says Donkey Kong, I would assume they mean the original unless Junior is specified, but "Simpsons" also has an original and one with Pinball Party attached to it...TSPP isn't even remotely close or makes sense.

Since nobody has asked (and I don't have a TSPP to trade anyway) what would the cash price be?

I'm in Houston so it would be a long drive, but I have done it round trip in a day before. I'm sure I can do it again.
