Toki PCB and NOS Marquee, Battle Balls PCB

My Daughter has informed my that I am no longer selling Toki.... So I guess that one is off the market for now. Not only that she wants it out of the garage and into the game room, don't worry...I'm still in complete control...

If you're daughter decides she would rather have a jar filled with 6,000 pennies let me know. I have a Toki machine that has sound issues (randomly gets super loud!) and the marquee is a little crispy looking. I purchased it non-working in a Joust cabinet (painted black) for only $70. The lady said she thought a rat got in and chewed the wires, but when I got it home there were no signs of rodents (no poop), but there were a couple wires plugged in incorrectly. I plugged them in and blammo! it fired right up!! picture is great and the game plays perfect, just the random volume increase:(....

Keep me in mind if you decide to sell, ok?

You've got a sweet game room setup - how did you mount the black lights between each machine?

I picked up a couple of the $10 Walmart jobbers, but looks like I might want to get a bunch more so I can put one between each machine!! :)

Thanks,

Kris

Toki Pics

Black lights are mounted with Velcro, low strength so they don't pull paint off the games. She may change her mind, who knows.

Cool - thanks for the input. I have 7 x Blacklights now that I will be mounting soon....

I have attached pics of my Toki stuff. The cabinet was originally a Joust that someone painted black, there is only a black plastic surround on the monitor which has clear glass over the top, no Toki bezel :(..

The CPO is pretty beat up with Fabtek logos all over it, probably just a generic one they put on the conversions. I recently purchased NOS Toki side art thinking if I ever get to doing full restores I might try to do a Toki....

Keep me in mind if you ever decide to part with your Toki stuff....

Thanks,

Kris

I really appreciate the pics, do the plastic pieces on the control panel at the buttons just say jump and shoot?? Any way of talking you out of that side art :)

Finally beat it last night... That last level sucks. Final Boss was pretty cool, I may sell this kit yet I haven't decided yet. I have the NOS Marquee, NOS Overlay, and PCB. You have side art and a game ready to be restored so it seems like a good fit.

Great job!

I have yet to beat the final level on my arcade (although did a couple years ago on my computer MAME, but that doesn't count!). Last summer I made it to the level with the fast moving cart a few different times, but those damn flying monkey devil dudes kept getting me. For a month or so I kept going between Toki, Rastan and Rolling Thunder.

With 20+ machines I tend to play similar games a lot then not again for a while. Last Fall I finally found a Super Sprint (only 1/2 mile from my house, too) - my 2 boys and I played for hours every weekend for about a couple months. I'm hoping to find a Super Off Road (w/Track Pack) 3 player for the racing sessions.

Recently I keep doing an hour long session split between Tempest, Space Duel, Tron and Donkey Kong II. I guess I go through phases from classics to side scroller shooters to racing. The other setup I'm looking to get is to get the switcher setup on my Guerrilla War and add the team play vertical scroller rotary shooter sessions along with my Buster Bros (can switch to Super Buster Bros & Pang 3) for another team player.

Too much fun !!!

Let me know if/when you decide :)....
