Is there any available to press a button and have it just dispense say $1 in tokens?

I doubt it is possible.. But anyone seen this in older machines?

I may be just barking up the wrong tree on this.

I added a button to mine to dispense 4 tokens per push. The button just completes the solenoid power circuit to ground manually (instead of grounding through logic).

Model type? I was thinking a skinny version... Since im pretty much done collecting cabs...

Also thx for the reply.

Thanks a bunch guys.

I didn't even think this was possible. But its such a badass idea.

I dislike free play, and would rather have my games mech switched to tokens.

So I guess this is on the list for 2018.

Any idea what those slim changers go for? Or is it better to find a older fat model?

It is fairly easy. You can wire it into the system, or hook it to the solenoid. With the Rowe's once you start a cycle, it's easy.

Try to do it with existing holes. I don't like drilling holes in the units.

The coin return trick is something I used for old pinball machines where the owner wanted freeplay, and didn't want to open the door. A quick momentary pushbutton and an angle bracket under the coin return bar, and you're in business. Don't need to use it much - most have a free play option.

I took the out of order light out of my Rowe and installed a momentary pushbutton in it's place. It's hooked up to the test dispense which dispenses four quarters at a time.

Got my BC-25 for free. (Thought unworking by seller; was actually working fine.)
Paid another KLOVer $300 for two more parts units (BC-3500 and BC-1200), and parted them out to upgrade my BC-25 to a BC-3500.

Really depends on condition and size..

Perhaps the question should be different, since I know nothing about change machines.

If looking for a compact footprint machine. What brand or model has parts available, or more readily available for this application.

Since for me, it would only be home use and accept $1 bills

older rowe machines will be the easiest to get a hold of, their are large one and smaller ones but i cant remember the machine series numbers, i have a small single hopper one. A lot of older rowe machines got stuck in warehouses or dumped do to their bill validator not being upgradeable to accept the newer bills with out having to do a complete change over to a mars style bill validator which a lot of operators would say screw it and just put that money towards a newer style changer.

There's the Hamilton E385:

lovely cocoa, someone just posted about selling their token coin changer, and it's
super portable/compact just the way you wanted it! i even posted on his thread
and name-dropped you.. but i don't think he knows about this thread.. and i don't
think you know about his thread!

Pm sent. Thx.

I am not sure how shipping would work on an item like that, I dunno the weight.

Never hurts to ask.

if i remember correctly the bc3500 can be upgraded to take new bills with just a new updated eprom and not a full change over like the older units required.
