Toddler Pinball

Plays pretty good there - seems to know his way around the machine, and is patient waiting for the ball to get to the flipper before he flips. Very cute. Its great to see kids grow up on these games.

Please send him this feedback though - I didnt see any concerted effort to hit the left / right ramp to light up GUMBALL, or any effort to start the modes. How is he going to get lost in the zone?

There must be some sort of epidemic outbreak! My 2 almost 3 year old begs me to play pinball the minute I walk in the door from work every night. It makes me very happy to hear her ask, "Can I play pinball daddy?" Good times right there..

I think I was in my late teens before I actually understood the play mechanics of Solid State machines.

Then again, I never had anybody to teach me or even watch...

All my friends were playing Samurai Shodown.

Awesome:. Here is my daughter showing a friend how to play....

Very cool. My little girl likes playing pinball as well. It was hard for her to stay focused on the games, but the pinball machine seems to be better. Great to see all these pics!

That's awesome. Hopefully, my daughter will show interest in my games by the time she's 2. :)

probably earlier... at 1 something my daughter was asking to play fwoggy (Frogger), and gets excited anytime I bring out the step stool. She doesn't stay focused on the game long (keeps wanting to switch between Frogger and Championship Sprint), and doesn't know what she's doing, but she still enjoys it.

Pinball took longer just because of the wing span needed to reach both flippers. she did figure out early on how to open up the pinball coin door though, so I have to hide those keys from her. Now she just tries to open it with my house key...

That's funny, my girl calls Mr Do's Castle, The Cat in the Hat game.. I'm not real sure where she got it from. Maybe it's the wizard hat or something. She likes to play it.. Well, she runs back and forth on the bottom of the screen. That's enough to keep her happy.

My daughter loves pinball. And if not pinball She either wants to play world class bowling (God help me if I have GoldenTee Setup in that machine when she wants to bowl ..Daddy, why is golf in there....).. Put her in front of the 60-in-1 and all she wants to play is gyruss or pacman..

It's just so much fun watching play and learn. I love the kid threads!!! keep the pictures coming.

The other funny thing is that he LOVEs balls, and because they are a similar size to pinballs Im guessing is fixated on joystick ball tops. So there are a few dozen seconds rolling around our house that he plays with saying "Ball....Ball"
