Todd Tuckey TNT Amusements has full scale Heart Attack, Misses Allentown Pinball Show

Hope you feel better Todd,I had a heart attack about a month ago and had the same symptoms i thought it was heartburn but then the chest pain got so severe it felt like a 100lb.ball was sitting on my chest and then my arms got really numb.I rushed to the hospital and i was told it was a heart attack and i could'nt believe it i'm only 36 yrs old.Three clogged arteries they operated and put a stent in the heart it was a scary feeling.Get all the rest you can and get better.-Mike

Take care, Todd.

I know it was scary and I'm glad things turned out well.

Congratulations on beating the WM Todd. Had the same thing happen about 10 years ago. My theory holds that these things usually always happen during sleep.
Not sure how yours went, but with me, if I had to go - that'd be the way I'd want to, completely painless, just a little lightheaded and thinking clearly became harder the longer I waited. I didn't get the vomiting, a little nausea, but the strange part was the stars, like I was going to pass out.
Prayers are with you buddy. You'll get the dietician telling you what you can and can't eat. Prepare to take more pills than you prolly ever have morning and night. :)
Thank God for the Roter Rooter man and stents. I had 3.
Don't get down in the dumps you'll bounce back on your feet man.

Yep! It happened at 2am Thursday morning while in bed...thought it was heartburn, then the sweating, left arm pain, vomiting got me to hospital at 4am...doctors there began work--told me if I waited two more hours, I would be dead. Upside, I finally sat up for first time since admittance in ICU at Holy Redeemer Hospital to have Kevin (from Classic Pinball) tell me weather was good and lots of people at Allentown Show---this is the first show I missed there! Got another operation scheduled Monday and if it goes smoothly, will be home as early as Thursday. Wife brought Mac in today so I could answer the two days of missed emails.....this may delay a few more marquee orders that came in...but it won't be a lifetime wait!

I was wondering why I didn't see you at Allentown! I am glad to hear you are doing OK Todd, hang in there you will be as good as new before you know it!

Sorry to hear about your health issues, but at least you didn't pull a Macho Man and try to just tough it out. You did the right thing, unless of course your life insurance is paid up and you want to leave a rich widow.

Glad you beat it, time for some lifestyle changes, eh? My friend's dad has modified his diet and got more exercise once he started getting heart attacks and it helped. I'm sure once was enough for you, time to start working out on Prop cycle and DDR :)
Glad you are still around for you family, get well and take things slow and easy.

Sorry to hear this, but glad you made it to the hospital in time and are getting better. Take care of yourself.

Feel better!

I just figured the change in weekend had conflicted something and you couldn't make it this year.

Good luck on a swift recovery!

Hears to a speedy recovery. Life's always more important than anything else. Man let's hope this is some what of warning to others to get checked out regularly. I'm starting to get up there in age but probably similar in age and I just keep putting off regular checkups. I'm scheduling an appointment within the next 2 weeks. Someone at my job just got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and she's on the younger side. I have decent insurance but never take advantage of it. I think most guys are this way.

Todd,

Glad to hear you made it through such a startling and life-threatening experience.

I urge you, your family and those that will be with you often (friends, co-workers) to consider taking a Red Cross CPR/First Aid/AED course. Should you ever suffer through this again, you'll benefit tremendously from the first responder care they could offer. Also, you'll be able to provide the same first response care to those that you cherish as well (and maybe even a complete stranger one day).

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

- Blaine
