today's stern/facebook/TRON tease...

Just so you know, that side art wasn't designed by me. Love to take credit but I can't. There is a dude who builds custom machines in his spare time who came up with that design. I just stumbled on it in a search the other day. I agree, he did a pretty kick-ass job. I'll see if I can find his website again.
 
I have never bought a NIB game, but I'd be down for a Tron pin if it is made.

Looking fwd to hearing more about this pin and if it actually comes into being.

I haven't heard any info about this lately. Is this a for sure release or are we still just hoping that it gets released? If it is a for sure are there any pictures of the playfield or artwork?
 
I havent heard anything, except Borg is on the team (which is good - maybe he can top Iron Man). Nothing about toys, art, layout.

At this point, its safe to say its a go ("rumors" are VERY strong)- just dont know when. Expecting to hear more this month.....

from everything i hear, from all over the place, it's a done deal. it's coming out....just that nobody knows when.

and i doubt we'll see pics/layout/etc until it's officially announced....seems to be the way STERN likes to do things.
 
this could potentially be my first new in box purchase as well! very smart to do a leak this far in advance. i have a feeling this pin will be very hard to come by once it's available to order. let's just hope it's more like batman, lord of the rings or family guy style pins.
 
It might be hard to buy at launch, but they will keep producing them until sales wane. Eventually it will be 4,200 shipped on Amazon like Avatar is now and Iron Man was.

edit: avatar is 3900 today.

anyone pick up the dvd's today??

i picked up the TRON CLASSIC 19.99 (dvd/bluray combo) and TRON LEGACY 24.99 (4 pack) on sale this week @ target. if you buy both you save 8 bucks. not a bad deal!

yeah, i got the TRON LEGACY 3D BR 4-pack....both target and wally-world were sold out of the original TRON on BR. guess i'll get it from amazon.
 
watched TRON legacy on 3D BR again tonight.....first time since the theatre.



man, i love that movie.
 
Didnt like Tron so thought i was safe.

Saw Legacy last night on pay per view - and LIKED it (maybe loved it?). Really good movie - alot better than i thought it was going to be. Did i mention i couldnt stand Tron (which saved me alot on the original vids, although a DOT would be nice). I can see how a Pinball machine would be incredible if done correctly.

OH NO! Why Stern Why do this to me (even though we dont know how its going to end up!). I thought for sure i was in the clear - all my Pin needs were met for now (with the exception to a Funhouse - man i could use one of those).

My problem by the way is space - half my room is vids (with SW and SH cockpits taking up alot of it!) and the other half are Pins - SM, IM, TZ.

Guess something may be in jeopardy depending on how well this Pin turns out. Glad to hear i have time till June to enjoy what i have.
