looks to me like the EOS switch is on backwards..... unless this is some odd configuration where you open the contact to fire the low voltage coil, which I haven't seen before.

Party Zone is pre-fliptronics so it will have a normally closed EOS switch. Not odd at all :)

EDIT: You will also not see the EOS in switch test. The MPU has no reason to know what that switch is doing on games using "conventional" flippers.

One of the coils looks like it has some heat damage to it, so I was trying to figure out if there was an EOS issue... is there any way other than hooking a meter up to the coil to make sure it's working?

I skimmed the thread but I didn't see you describe the problem. Is only that flipper not working?
