You mean Roy Clark cocktail pinball? Are they worth that much? I picked up one a while back off of CL.

I bought mine for $125 and it is in really good shape. It only needed flipper rubbers and there were a few segments on the LEDs that were out. I actually have some replacement LEDs on order so that I can replace them all. It is being given to a family member for Christmas. :D

the pin is like new and my buddy decided to keep it for $500 and store it at my house so its win/win for me. i'm keeping the time pilot.

Time Pilot is awesome. love my dedicated cab (i have the black vinyl instead of the woodgrain.) now if only it had enough buttons on the CP to play TP '84 as well...

i dont know how to do that!

anyways, got all the burned out lights replaced in the pin and polished it up, everything on it is now working perfectly except a segment or two of the LED's, and needs one flipper rubber.

The Roy Clark looks to be in good shape from what you can tell in the pics. Looks like it has the same problem with segments out on the LED score displays. I'm hoping my new LEDs get here today. They don't exactly match the originals, but at least they will all be replaced together. So they will all look like each other and all work. :D

In case your interested, here are the parts I bought to replace the existing modules.

Since I bought over 10, they only ended up being $.99 each. They are the same height as the original digits, pin compatible, and within the original module size specifications.

i am interested! thanks for the info.

No problem. Wish me luck! The displays showed up so I am going to start desoldering all the old ones. I will resurrect my old thread about the displays once I have some pictures. :)

Good luck keeping those cocktail pins running. They are notoriously unreliable.

Years ago I bought a "Take 5" cocktail pin at a garage sale for $40 bucks, since there was a local auction in a couple weeks, I had a flipper assembly overnighted from Canada.

By the end of the first week, I'd replaced all the bulbs, the flipper, coil, rubbers, and cleaned and waxed the whole machine. It looked great but I figured I'd put way too much time and money into it and would be lucky to break even.

At the auction it got a lot of play and when the bidding started it jumped in $100 increments up to $500 when the auctioneer stopped and announced, "only two people know what this machine is really worth" meaning the bidders; I leaned over to my buddy and said, "yeah, and neither of them is bidding on it!".

It sold for over $900 bucks, which has to be some kind of record. Those cocktails are neat, but usually not worth that much.

I have had mine since August 2008 and have had zero problems with it since I got it. The boards are really clean and it just needed some maintenance items and new LED displays since some of the segments were burned out.

Two hours ago I changed the LED displays out on the credit display board and the new digits look awesome... Now I have 12 digits to go for the score displays.

I do wish I could have found some of the same displays to just replace the bad ones, but these new ones look great on the machine and I have no regrets.
