It was one year ago this weekend that I bought my first pin, Roller Coaster Tycoon. I had to travel 400+ miles round trip to Oregon to pick it up.

It seemed fitting that today I made damn near the same journey to pickup another pin. I may have to do this every year - Roadtrip to Oregon, pickup a pin and eat at Burgerville.

Anyway, I haven't unloaded it yet, but here's a teaser pic. - Barry

good stuff. i had a JP for a while....fun pin....if it's working 100% you'll have fun with it.

I got it unloaded and setup in the garage for now, I'll move it in the house soon after the NW Pinball show is over this weekend.

The cabinet is in great shape with a couple minor dings. Playfield is great with only minor wear around the popper holes that I'll get cliffy's for. Previous owner installed led's in the backbox and all the inserts. The best part it's working!

I did notice that the flipper bats were changed at some point to white, I'll change them back to yellow and get the cliffy's soon.

Very fun game and I have alot to learn about the ruleset. - Barry

I'm starting to think this might be my first pin I pick up. I like the theme, has a DMD, an can be picked up at a relatively reasonable price.

Love the game - a great value.

Glancing at yours, it looks like the little rubber covers/condoms on the lightbulbs over the scoops and the main ramp are white, and not the correct colors. Should place an order for those along with the flipper bats.

Also, I mentioned this in another thread, but if you get the yellow bats, consider adding green flipper rubber instead of the standard red - I love the look of the green so much, I added colored post sleeves to the 4 posts across the top. Just be sure to remember that you've got three flippers, not two!

Also, be sure to let us know the first time you reach System Failure - a great wizard mode that's pretty reachable at factory settings. If you don't know what to expect, it can be a bit of a surprise.

The bulbs look white but the are frosted colored leds. I've been examining the machine more closely and I have some work ahead of me.

The previous shop job wasn't that good. I'm going to tear down the playfield and thoroughly clean/polish and wax and re rubber it with white and replace the bats. I found 1 bad switch to replace as well as some dead flasher bulbs. A bit more work than expected, but I still would have bought it anyway.

On that note anyone know the easiest way to remove the playfield from the cabinet? - Barry
