Picked this up today not working, had been converted to a switcher so I changed out the switcher and it came up. Both monitors need a recap but it does work. Pulled off all the old tmolding because it was hardly there. I am probably going to convert it back into a punch out but we'll see.

I've never played arm wrestling before but I think isn't it on the rarer side? You most certainly don't see those every day. Punch Out!! rocks though so I don't blame you if you were to ditch the wrestling / convert it to the knock out! I have no interest in this game but surely someone will want to snag that control panel, marquee and PCB.

By all means rip up the rare title with pure unobtanium artwork pieces to convert it back to the common one.

131 Punch Out machines on vaps, 5 Arm wrestling.

Did you know the number of vaps members looking for Arm Wrestling machines is equal to 100 percent of the number of member who actually own one. While the number of members looking for Punch Out!! is only equal to 17 percent of the members who actually own one.

Yeah, rip that up.

Tear up that irreplaceable arm wrestling sideart to drop in repro Punch Out artwork.

Rip that the fuck up.

See that Zoo Keeper in the background? I am thinking Elevator Action. That Robotron would make a great Altered Beast and Arkanoid would go great in that Tempest cocktail.

lol, nice approach, real nice.

I think a better approach would be:
Hey Kalan, I'll give you $500 and a restored punchout for that machine.

Kalan is one of the best guys out there, for the record.

I am sure he is wonderful, just sometimes, realize what you are doing and in this case it would be ripping up a rare Nintendo title that a lot of nintendo collectors would love to have, in favor of converting it to a common title. I imagine the conversion costs alone would be a good percentage of the cost of just buying Punch Out in the first place.

First off do I even F*&?ing know you? Have you seen the artwork on the machine no because its halfway torn off on each side anyway so find another machine to scan and repro. This is the second one I have had recently so its obviously not that rare.

You know nothing about me and we should keep it that way. Jesus Christ..

Its a conversion anyway. Someone can just get the parts from me and throw it in a punch out cab. If someone has'nt found the artwork yet than good luck.

Congrats on the pickup, before you convert it back to a punchout can you at least take several pics of the super rare side art to see if someone could maybe eventually repo it. I'd definitely but a set.

big mistake converting it. Its worth probably 2x punchout. PLus you will have to do less work.

If you have to have a punchout, I would suggest offer it up in trade. You probably will get better cab and not have to buy repro side art.

I'll be up in LA today, maybe I can swing by and take a look at it to see if I can reproduce the artwork.

Sorry being such a tool in my previous post. I really shouldn't post drunk.

That game sat on Craigslist for $100 for quite a long time. Where were the preservationists then?
