Just got back from picking up a project machine Black Hole. The upper playfield will need a bit of work and the game is filthy from being in storage for 10 years. The backglass is perfect and the cabinet is solid with just a few scrapes. It is all complete and will look great next to my haunted house. The seller and his family has run an amusement company for the last 40 years. He showed me one of his storage warehouses that had a lot of older pins, videos and some EM bowlers. I saw a close encounters, genie, charlies angels, counterforce, volcano and a roller disco. He said he also had a funhouse, addams family twilight zone and a star trek next generation for sale. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the warehouse and will try to post some pics of the black hole this weekend.

I hope you like the game. To me it's different than most pins; I actually don't even pay attention to the score I get on the game because I'm trying to get that elusive multiball.

I'd love to see pictures of the machine.

Give me a few days and I will get some. I'm hoping to check some of the boards out this weekend.

I wanted to buy more, but used my remaining funds to get BH. I didn't have a camera with me at that time or I would have taken a few pictures. He had sold off a lot of machines before I got there. He said what was there was left out of 300 machines. Been nice to have found this place years ago.

A few pics of the worst parts. The main playfield needs a lot of work, but will be a decent player's machine when finished. Both power supplies, aux lamp and sound boards are good. The mpu has minimal acid damage that should be repairable with a kit from GPE. It will need a replacement driver board and some connectors repinned. The cabinet is solid and the backglasses are flawless. I'm looking forward to getting this one working!

The cab/glass look good on that, but I kind of cringe looking at the playfield. I bought a game like that once, and now I've decided against it as I can work with the electronic side of things, but cosmetic stuff like that is almost impossible to fix up.

It's odd to me the game has that kind of wear around the pops when it should of had some kind of mylar protection. Those plastics may clear up with a good wash/novus.

I have most of the parts on order to get it working. The playfield will be a challenge, but I figure there is not much I can do to make it any worse buy trying to patch in some artwork.
