I had a game listed locally on Craigs List a little bit ago and was contacted by someone asking if I bought games. I said, " Yeah, depending on what game, what do you have?" I got a reply back that they had a Donkey Kong that worked when they last plugged it in a few years back and a Ms Pac Man that was "tilted" after their grand daughter played it several years ago. I finally got a chance to go see them and decided to pick them up! Not bad shape for each overall. They owned them for the last 15 years or so and used them for weddings that they had at their house. Crazy how I found these so close to home (about 15 mins from my house).

The Donkey Kong is in decent shape. Plugged it in an got nothing except a little humming down by the power supply. No neck glow. Nothing when coin up and press start. No marquee light. Just recently picked up a DK JR, but haven't even messed with it so I don't know much about Nintendo games. The cab is plywood so that is nice. Has all the locks and keys and came with the original manual. Needs repairs, new T-molding, side art and a good cleaning!

The Ms Pac Man ended up being a converted Pac Man cab. The control panel is very rusty. The bezel is in ok shape with the typical flaking. The cabinet is in great shape. This is Pac Man cab number 6 for me (they vary from complete and in decent shape to gutted and shabby shape). Anyone looking for one? I think this one will be my keeper. I'll take the best parts and make a nice one to keep for my personal collection. Plugged it in an heard the coin counter just "click, click. click" for awhile and then stop. Nothing on the monitor (WG4600). I'll get to it after I get a few more projects done. Has all the locks and keys and came with the original manual.

I picked up a popeye cab that had the same "dead hum" that yours has. I cleaned the inside of the cabinet and cleaned the monitor anode cup area...and it came to life! So keep your fingers crossed :)

I couldn't believe I did not have to drive 700 miles round trip to pick these up which has been my M.O. for some time now.
