Saw it on FB marketplace yesterday afternoon for $100, an hour after it listed. I messaged if still available I will go get it. Seller said I can come get it. 7.5 hrs round trip. I Rented a 4'x9' trailer from uhaul for $28 last night. This morning I left at 6:42am..got it home and unloaded at 4:42pm. I had to unload it by myself...I videoed it..I will post it to this thread later on. Seller said tons of people hit them up before and after me but I was the only one that said I'd go get ASAP the next day being it was a far drive for me.
Got it home, plugged it in, only 44vac at end of the plug..swapped out plug with a good one..still nothing but I had no time to trouble shoot further because I had an hour to return the trailer and it was a 50 minute drive to u-haul dealer.
Does steering wheel and pedals need to be connected for it to turn on? I did not see any cherry switches. All fuses were good too. I will try and mess with it more this weekend.

Finally, if anyone has a steering wheel for sale, as you can see, I need one so please hit me up.

Wow, great pickup! I guess I would check any line noise filters or fuses to see if something there is causing voltage drop with a bad connection.

When my 2-wheel SOR came up on FB I messaged the seller within about an hour and he said he'd already had a lot of messages and whoever showed up first would take it home. I had to duck out of work early and then hustle 2 hours to snag it.

Offering to get the deal done right away — even same day — is often a winning strategy. Most FB buyers are so flakey.

Nice, congrats this is one i really would like to find some day.

Verify 120vac at your power supply then check the DC outputs. Hard to tell in the picture but something looks off about the power connection going to the monitor.
Inspection all wiring before applying power.

Nice score 👍🏻🤙🏻

Wall plug at 124 vac. I'm going to mess with it today a little bit.

Update 5-3-25 : Got it working. Power supply was good and I believe the wires weren't making good contact at first..took PS out..tested it, all was good..tested transformer, all was good..reconnected it all and it lit right up. 5 minute video uploading to YouTube now. Will post link when uploaded.

Looks like you just need to source that wheel for yellow and you're in business! Congrats!
Been looking..I see one on eBay that might work..different design but a possible replacement till I can get my hands on an exact replica.

That is an amazing pick up for that price! Especially with a functioning board. Fixer upper+ cabinets are what I'm after, and I typically avoid project cabinets.

I feel Super Off Road is a rather underappreciated game in terms of what it offered for its time. A top-down racer with a free-spinning steering wheel and fun physics plus car upgrades. Recently played it for the first time in years a couple weeks ago on a trip to Atlanta, in this "free play" arcade that had all the games badly wired for free play with these "time activated" tap cards, and all their CRT cabs had half-assed LCD mods in them.

At that arcade I randomly saw this tucked in a corner and nobody played it. Mario Kart, FNF Drift and Dead Heat got all the love. Well I played it and began appreciating what it offers. I've yet to master all 8 courses and I've never played Track Pack, but I think the last time I played it was on the PS2 in the Midway Treasures 3 disc, and playing this with a controller doesn't feel right to me.

Did you get measurements of the main cabinet with the steering wheels taken off? I have two sit down drivers at home and one of them is 30.5" wide, and that one (Harley Davidson) is a woody instead of plastic/metal. That needed the doorway trimmed to 30 to even remotely get it through. I'd love to pick up a 2-player of this, but there is no center player (yellow).

I have the 2-player model. It has a smaller screen (19") and of course no yellow player… not quite the iconic highly visible red/yellow/blue color scheme of the original, but honestly I think it's a perfect option for home use. It fits much better in a home environment, smaller/lighter to move around, and let's be honest: most of the time I'm playing my games solo so the third player is pretty irrelevant.

I love the game. I wish there was an easy way to swap between the original tracks and the Track Pak version like a switcher kit of some sort. I have Track Pak but I enjoy the original courses too.
