Where was that one hiding?

That looks more like a Nichibutsu version; I didn't know they made one. Cool!
I just sold my Taito Trimline Crazy Climber cabaret.
Haven't seen one of these in a whileView attachment 114000
That's not a mini it's a Nichibutsu upright non deluxe version, I have one. These are pretty rare the first time I have seen one other than mine was at the Seattle show this year.
Looks like your joysticks have been changed out? Too bad the originals are very unique, how is the stenciled art on the control panel? Mine is toast and I have asked every member on KLOV that has one to scan theirs, so I can reproduce it. Unfortunately not one member has been willing to scan their control panel. Anyways, great pick up, awesome game!
Yeah the panel has newish sticks on it, and the cpo is all black vinyl. It did come with an unapplied cc sticker cpo.
I didn't power it up. the guy said it worked, but occasionally the character graphics would wig out.
It lolls to be in nice shape though.
Mike
Here is a pic of the cpo I got with itView attachment 114176
That is the incorrect CPO for your machine. The CPO they gave you goes to the Nich deluxe model. Maybe one of the guys with the correct CPO will scan it for us, who brought the CC to the Seattle show this year?
The standard Nichibutsu Crazy Climber upright that was at the Seattle show this year is mine. I don't know how to scan applied art work (especially anything larger than 8.5"x11"), nor do I have the equipment and software needed to do so. I'd be happy to loan my control panel to someone who does, but I'd prefer it be someone I know in the Seattle area or at least someone in my area who can be vouched for, so I can make sure I get it back re-assembled and in good working order like it is now. I don't think it would be easy to track down another control panel like this that is in decent condition, complete, and works correctly.
Here's a photo I snapped just now of my cab:

That is not the control panel that was on it when I bought it. The original control panel was in bad shape and looked like it had been partially painted over, had a Nichibutsu Crazy Climber instruction sticker applied in the middle that looks like a legitimate sticker but does not look like it belongs there, the sticks were kinda beat up and one of them didn't work right, and the ball tops were of different sizes.
I remembered seeing a decent looking Nichibutsu Crazy Climber standard upright control panel on dj dns's Flickr photo stream, so I PM'd him about it and he still had it. That's it in the photo above. I bought his rather than try to repair and restore my crappy one. Here is a photo of the original control panel from my Nichibutsu Crazy Climber:

I still have it, and don't need it. It looks like someone touched it up with black paint and applied a big sticker over the middle section. The instruction sticker looks legit but I don't know if it is. It doesn't appear to belong there, and I can't see anyplace on this cab where it would have logically belonged. Maybe it's a fan creation? *shrug* Also, oddly, it appears there is only one carriage bolt hole on each side rather than two. This control panel is a mystery to me. It fits perfectly on my cab and the visible artwork pattern matches my "new" CP, but it does have some odd differences.
GuidoTorpedo, Braido is correct in that the spare CPO you got with your cab is for the deluxe Nichibutsu upright. If it's in good shape it may need to be scanned and archived, as I don't know if that art file is available anywhere.
Braido, can you confirm that my current control panel (first pic above) is correct for the standard Nichi upright? And do you know anything about this oddball Nichi CP (second pic above) that I have in storage?
