I worked a deal with a craigslist guy. Many emails and phone calls. Yesterday and today. My eyes were on the Journey but picked up both in a package deal. I want to personally than Fullthrottle for picking up the games for me since they were over 300 miles away. I hope to get them home in the next few weeks.

The Journey is missing the Tape Deck and has garbage on the screen. The gorf works, but he said the coin mechs stopped working.

Anyway Im excited about the machines. Again could not have done it without Fullthrottle. Thanks again Bro!!

You can buy a tapedeck all day long at radio shack for $35 and the board should be easy enough to get fixed. Welcome to the club of one of the worst playing games in history.

Agree game play is So So, But there is just something about Journey that makes it real cool. I think it would look great next to Tron and Satans Hollow:cool: I will have to look into radio shack on the tape player, Does anyone sell the tape?

It is a cool looking cabinet!
Congrats on the pickup!

Thanks I will prob take Journey to the Seattle Show next year if they need it, Dont think there was one this year?

I don't remember seeing a Journey there. A lot of people talk about it, so I'm interested to check it out, for sure.

nice score. That Gorf cabaret is pretty sweet for sure.

i'm sure we'll need it as the person who has had the Journey at the show the past couple of years is no longer associated with the show and won't be bringing any games that we are aware of.

so yes, plan in hauling that thing from Spokane!

I thought Scott's Journey was there. There is another SMAC member with a Journey so maybe it will be a Journey there one way or another. - Barry

that you will have a very hard time finding (i know cause im looking for one also), just put a greatest hits in there.. also hope the casssette interface isnt fried.. Ive seen alot with the interface tape part messed up... good score though looks nice...

also what did you pay for it?? just curious

One of these days I'd love to take a crack at making a solid state replacement for DECO cassettes... talk about a classic system with reliability problems, at least the games with 8-tracks are playable without them!

DUDE! Awesome score. I don't care what people say, I ENJOY playing Journey and would LOVE to have one. NICE WORK!

Nice Journey and nice Gorf cabaret! I'll hopefully have room for one of those minis someday...

Yea, get in touch with Rikitiki fast. He is only doing a VERY limited production run of the Journey Cassette + AMP boards.
