I spotted this beauty sitting next to 3 trash cans on a curb while out for a jog after work. I stopped back on my way home and asked the guy if I could have it, he said "if you don't take it, the trashman will"
So I snagged it, got it home, and BOOOYAAA an exact tube match for a G07!!!
A perfect condition, FREE tube!! It's my lucky day! :)

LOL....
Jedi mind trick
Pay no attention to that Pacman project in the background.........

I'll be posting that in the resto section sometime soon when I'm a little further along, it wouldn't be a very fun thread now, mostly sanding, lots and lots of sanding, AND DUST!!!

Nice pick..
I worry when I see a pacman next to a gasoline container. I hope the pac man is a restore story and not a flame on story..

Worry not! :) MY garage has to actually function as a garage from time to time. It just so happens I filled my lawnmower yesterday and was too lazy to put the gas can back where it belongs.....Pac is close to the door so I can move it out into the drive to sand....and sand and sand........

After all the sanding I've done to that cab, I'd rather douse myself in gasoline and light ME on fire than have anything happen to that thing!!! :)

I have one of those boring threads going now and i've been sanding on the right side for 2 days and i'm still not ready to start the bondo work...so, i feel your pain. lol.

Smiles. I glad the game has found someone to love and bring it back to life.

Great score! What is the make and model? I am assuming the yoke did not match the G07, correct?

Magnavox, model no BC4232WA01
Na the yoke is different, so that'll have to come from the tube being swapped.....

Pretty cool story about that Pacman cab, it was mostly working, ugly as sin, a woman and her husband just wanted it out of the upstairs of their house It had sat untouched for 15 years.....they were moving to Israel of all places, said her husband picked it up on a construction site as it was going to get tossed........

I told her I'd email her a picture of it when I was done with it......

Yeah, there's two perfect conidtion tubes sitting just down the alley from my place. They are still living inside of console TVs and have been rained on several times.

As long as its 19" and the neck pins match the neck board from your chassis, should be good to go. There is a good basic tutorial for this here http://junknet.net/donor-tvs look at the right column for the tube swap stuff.
