Well got an email from a guy looking to get rid of some stuff that he's been storing for a fellow that hasn't shown up in over 2 years to claim his belongings.
He wanted $50. I offered $40... which he took...

This is what I ran away with:)

Well damn, what else was in that box that you didn't tell us about?..

Not sure how to use one of those myself, as I don't own one.. I see the power cord, do you have the other one that interfaces with the pc?

Nice score! Hopefully you will let someone reproduce that tall cocktail style cab. I know alot of users here were interested in it. Does it have any Nintendo tags anywhere on it?

Looks like it might have been converted... Then again maybe not.
I just couldn't resist. I had to try plugging it in! Last owner said he couldn't get it to start. Probably should have checked the on/off switch on the bottom! Looks like the chassis needs a rebuild. No burn in on monitor. Its obviously a 13" tube. Can anyone identify the chassis? I'm going to have to do a cap kit.

Well.. Golden Axe 2 had some cap issues... replaced 2 and game fired right up. Played up to level 4. Kinda getting hooked on this game... even though I only tested with 2 buttons!

Cool! I also found this little toy in the box of goodies too...

Who can point me in the right direction for using it???

That's a programmer for PIC microcontrollers made by Microchip. I used a programmer like this in a University class on microcontrollers. Support is still available from Microchip.

90% sure they only work with the EPROM inside of microcontrollers, not independent EPROM devices. I will be happily surprised if somebody proves me wrong.

Sweet cabertail/cockaret! I bet all of the ladies will flock to your place now.

No really though, all of the Japanese labels, the Sega plate, interesting design choices...

I can't wait to see what this thing plays!
