I usually don't post my finds. But this one took the cake. I got a service call at the end of the day and was thinking crap I just want to go home but I took it anyway. I get to this guys house he wont answer the door all of a sudden the garage door opens. There sat one of the nicer unrestored Kiss pinball's I've seen in person. Being I'm there its there what the hell hey nice game what are you doing with that then here it comes oh my buddy is thinking about buying it, I said if he doesn't give me a call nothing else was said I fix his electric and ask again hell why not right. He then said he would probably let it go for 2-3 hundred I waited a couple min and ask what the best he would do next thing I know were loading it in the truck for 200.00. The service call would have paid about that so I have about 15.00 in parts and a couple hours of my time in it.
Great back glass only one small spot at the lift channel, nice cabinet, fair play field, perfect plastics, clean boards, coin bucket and all the paperwork. The bad it blows the 4 amp fuse on the power supply, went through and fixed the headers and housings still doing it.
To make the deal even sweeter his son has a eight ball deluxe he needs to move. I guess we will see same owner on both games for the past 20 yrs.

WOW. just WOW.

Kiss pinball was my first game ever, and you can't even get the backglass for what you paid for the entire machine! The most surprising part of it is that most people who have kiss pinballs at this point know they are worth good money (kiss collectors, etc) as opposed to the average arcade machine owner that just has one in their garage or house...

Congrats!!

I almost got one last year for $150. It was listed in the local want ad by a realitor who said it was in the basment of a house she was selling and it had to go. I called her while she was in a meeting so she asked for me to call back. Long story short I lost the phone number and the ad had expired long before I called her the first time.

if thats a system like my freedom is most of your power supoply issues will be fixed with some soldering and new rectifier bridges.
