I normally go to auctions looking for games to scrap but this year was a bit different. I thought that this would fetch a few hundy but the bidding went nowhere and i scooped it for $125. It's complete, all original an partially working. This is a great resto candidate and it looks like the edge connector is the source of the problem.

Thanks to Mnrocketry (Alan) for lettin me have this one

It does have some damage but it's all easily repairable. This thing will get stripped down to bare wood and get the full treatment.

Glad you're not stripping it. That's a very cool get.

Chris got the awesome deal of the day! Congrats!

Once I knew that you planned to bid, I just stayed out of your way. I don't need to buy _every_ Atari vector game that I come across - even if it does seem that way sometimes. ;-)

I was telling Chris that I paid nearly $400 for my Lunar Lander (on ebay, complete and non-working) and had to make a round-trip to Kansas City to get it. If I had waited four more years, this one was only four miles from my house at 1/4 the price.

Had a seat in my buddy's truck saved for me for the auction but I just couldn't pull it off. Oh, and I'm broke. :) Nice score Chris. Can't wait to see it when you're finished with it.

The control panel is actually pretty good yet and time will tell on the art repro. It looks like the regulator board is the early culprit as i'm only getting 2.4 volts coming out of it with new caps. Monitor is definitely working, power brick has all the right voltages but i can't verify if the board is any good without a good regulator. Time to head to the wanted section.

Wow, what a find, Chris!

Can I have it when you're done with it? :)

I wish the auction down here yesterday would have had even one classic upright that wasn't converted. :(
