Today's addition to the Lost Highway.....

These are lenses that came off an electric fence tester from the 1940's or 50's. I thought they would look cool mounted on the booth. Maybe they are power lights for the booth itself(green-the booth is ready for use; red-there is a problem...standby).

Or maybe they are lights for the teleport/timewarp feature of the booth. Green-you're ready to get the f*ck out of Dodge!

Later I will mount some led's behind them so they light up nicely.

The last picture is an Argus 35mm camera that my Dad bought and used when he was in the Navy(1955-1959). I've had it for years now, and its finally coming out of storage. It fits in nicely.

Did a Lost Highway traveler forget the camera there when they used the booth? Did that traveler get abducted by a UFO after taking a picture of the aliens? Did the military leave it there for the next person that needed the booth's services? You be the judge. I love this stuff!

When the light is red, you get transported to somewhere really unpleasant, like under the butt end of a Titan missile 5 seconds prior to launch.


I love the theme, its really well done. One thing has always bothered me though. The highway on the wall reminds me a bit of Coyote/RoadRunner cartoons. I half expect to see the Coyote chase the Road Runner and smack into the wall while the Road Runner safely continues along the road.
