Today was a good day for arcade hunting in Albany, NY.

Well I started the day heading out to Johnstown, NY with my good buddy Mike (masco73) to pickup a working Blood Brothers for $150.

Loaded that up and on the way back stopped in Amsterdam, NY to check out a video game store that just opened up there. While in there I ask them if they were interested in any full size arcade games. To my surprise they say yes. So not really planning on all this I mention that I have one in my van. Mike and I pull it out wheel it in and the guy checks it out and after some back and forth he says he will pay $225 cash. I figure what the hell I have only owned the game for 30 minutes and can make a quick $75 so I take it.

I get home and see that a Centipede just popped up on CL in Albany, NY for $50. So Mike and I hop back in the van and head down and grab it.

So in the end I get the Centipede for FREE and $25 in my pocket. Not a bad day in arcade land! :)

Nice one! So, basically you got paid $25 for an awesome game? I'd take that anyday. Is it currently working?

Also, what cab was that Blood Bros game in? Never seen that style before.

The Centipede was sold as non working. It's still in my van since it was raining when I got home so I haven't been able to check it out. Mike noticed when we were loading it up that the power cord was all chewed up. Might get lucky with it being just the cord. :)

Not sure what cabinet the Blood Brothers is in. I have never seen that style cabinet either.
