To PayPal claim or not...

1st - Jeff, Glad to hear you are on the way to a resolution with ____.

2nd - We actually use google to host our email for work. We're fairly small (about 30 people) and google does a pretty good job of hosting our mail and the spam filter very rarely misses. (just tossing in my $.02)

cheers

I've only had to file one PayPal claim in my hundreds of transactions over the years but it seems like I'm going to have to again. :(

Biggest bummer is this is against someone who does this hobby much good by producing wonderful products... it's just that he won't respond to my emails so I really have no other choice. :(

I hate doing it and if this person reads this post, I am truly sorry but what else is there to do? I know you won't sell me any of your future products and I guess I have to accept that but it just stinks it had to come down to a PayPal claim. :(

Reason I'm posting this publically is what would you do? You pay for something a month and a half ago and get about 1/5th of your order in the mail. You write and ask for an ETA on the remainder and get ignored. Then about a month after the order, you write to see what's up and if you can just cancel the remainder of your oder and again, ignored. So last evening I write to say I'm going to go forward with a PayPal claim and while I'm hopeful to get a response where that's not needed... I just don't have a good feeling about it.

Am I wrong to proceed with the PayPal claim? I know this person is highly respected and I'm the first to admit he does 110% quality work... but why the ignoring? It just doesn't make sense?

At any rate, guess I had a string hanging out today because I felt I had to write this... I just hate when this stuff happens and I do truly feel bad about the PayPal claim thing. :(

Who was the seller? if your not going to include that important part then why post this?

lol, yeah I always want to know, but honestly, the fact that a good resolution is on the way is the important thing.

I am a sucker for happy endings. :O)
