I've only had to file one PayPal claim in my hundreds of transactions over the years but it seems like I'm going to have to again.
Biggest bummer is this is against someone who does this hobby much good by producing wonderful products... it's just that he won't respond to my emails so I really have no other choice.
I hate doing it and if this person reads this post, I am truly sorry but what else is there to do? I know you won't sell me any of your future products and I guess I have to accept that but it just stinks it had to come down to a PayPal claim.
Reason I'm posting this publically is what would you do? You pay for something a month and a half ago and get about 1/5th of your order in the mail. You write and ask for an ETA on the remainder and get ignored. Then about a month after the order, you write to see what's up and if you can just cancel the remainder of your oder and again, ignored. So last evening I write to say I'm going to go forward with a PayPal claim and while I'm hopeful to get a response where that's not needed... I just don't have a good feeling about it.
Am I wrong to proceed with the PayPal claim? I know this person is highly respected and I'm the first to admit he does 110% quality work... but why the ignoring? It just doesn't make sense?
At any rate, guess I had a string hanging out today because I felt I had to write this... I just hate when this stuff happens and I do truly feel bad about the PayPal claim thing.
