to out or not to out??

Sadly I believe Natey_boy is posting under an alt account. Initial D I thought Natey was a stand up guy. Please don't dissapoint Natey. I recalled messaging him regarding the Initial D when he bought it. I think it's too much of a coincidence with the username and D3 machines.

Good point. I'll add natey_boy to the thread title or start a new one with his name in it if I cant figure out how to edit this one.

List the complete deal and what happened so we can make our decisions. Whatever happens you have done the right thing, the DB owes you money and he has avoided you.

Complete deal = He agreed to buy some games, he picked up said games, he never paid for the games....

The games are in Alaska and I'm in Texas so I wasnt there when he took them.

Are you going to contact the local authorities? That's what I would do.

You did the right thing Matt. No sense in letting him screw someone else over. You have have helped out a lot of collectors over the years, it's too bad a deal has to go south like that. Hopefully he will man-up and pay you.

Was this a buy now pay later deal or did he break the terms when he took possession?

It was a go and pick the games up and pay me when you get home with them deal.

I've done this with TONS of KLOVers and RGVACers and never been screwed before.

Ugh totally sucks dude. Sorry about this happening. If you have any deals in Ohio or surrounding states let me know. You wont get screwed here.

He is violating board policy I believe by enacting a 2nd user ID to avoid bad dealings with the 1st one. Get a mod to change the thread Title for you - just mod alert your initial post and tell them what you want done.

Couldn't agree more. I think you were the one who helped me with my first game (PP2) when nobody else would like ten years ago on RGVAC when I was having power problems. Hope it works out dude.

LOL @ proceeding... SHS (Shaking Head Silently) @ the situation with Natey Boy.
You should change the name of the title or start a new one that links to this one... any other Alaska klovers even that can call him?

I live in Kodiak Alaska and if I wasn't on an island then I would go and see what was up. I'll be in the Anchorage airport in two weeks. But only for two hours. I'm in Texas right now visiting my family. Not sure if I could be of much help.

Alaska

I recently found my way to this place after my friend and I, who are restoring old Williams games and a few others, had more questions then we have answers.

We encountered this guy recently via craigslist in Anchorage. He was attempting to sell us a few games. We became suspicious when the story begin to shift about the condition of the games. He also made a claim that he was opening an arcade and needed money etc. We did not agree to purchase his games. He also goes by the name of Kato or Nate on the local craigslist boards. He recently picked up a Gauntlet 2 before we had a chance to snag it. But, for what its worth, we beat it to a much better deal the other day:)

Anyhow, I guess I wanted to post just to say not all of us arcade lovers in Alaska have issues. In fact most are downright decent. That said if you folks ever need eyes on locally in Alaska let me know. In exchange anyone know of a good, solid shipping company for games and pins from Alaska to the lower 48? Thanks mates!

Thanks

THanks Groff I will look in to them.

Yah sorry for the bump, recent events aka dealings with Nate aka Kato locally had me very interested in this thread (I am shocked this cat is still up to his tricks but meh, we ended up walking away from his shady dealings before it bit us).
