I frickin love this place and have never found the need to seek information elsewhere, apart from RGP, call me a nerd stuck in my old timey ways but this place is like my home!
Even tho Im not into games as much as I used to be, (pins now) I have always felt welcomed here.
I know Im prob setting myself up for being close minded but this place has always met my meager needs for information and parts, I have never needed to go anywhere else.
Plus its frickin hilarious here!
I have browsed other forums (BYOAC and such)
But they seem to lack the tight knit community feel, plus I wouldnt give up the drama for anything! Ill be the first to admit it, I love watching some of these train wreck threads!

I gotta say, being new here, everyone's been pretty cool. My first post was a most-likely typical "Any advice for new guy to the hobby" thread which could have potentially been met with a myriad of "colorful" responses. It wasn't. Instead, a lot of guys, including some in this thread, gave me some great advice on buying my first cab. I appreciate that as well as all of the other info here. Just my .02.

Both forums have their place. Like TOK said, CAGDC is geared more toward the players and playing the games, not restoration and fixing (except so you can play your game when it breaks ) I know alot of the posters over there (and a few here)...there's a handful of us that are regulars on both too.

Every hobby has a subset of people who take it way too seriously, or take themselves way too seriously (or both.) As these things go, I'd say KLOV is not bad at all.
