TMNT Restore[90% Complete]
I have started on my TMNT rebuild project.
I picked up an old cab with monitor back in Jan.
The cabinet was in bad shape and had water damage, I just need the 25in monitor out of the cab.
The person I bought the cabinet from said it used to be a TMNT so I took the control pannel art work off and found the old TMNT control pannel art.
So after finding the control pannel I knew that I had to bring the cab back from the dead. My friend is a cabinet maker and he took all the measuserments to cut new parts. We are going to use only a few parts from the old cabinet.
Building a TMNT would be no good if I didn't have the PCB board. I found one in the "For Sale" and bought it. I hooked up my jamma harness to test the board and had no picture just blue. Turned out to be low power supply input of only 10v. Fixed the power supply by turning the power up to 12v.
All the artwork had been painted over with black paint or covered up with custom art. Found a guy in Iowa who makes repo side art.
So this week I am picking up the wood from my friend and putting the cabinet together.
I should have the project done by mid march. Ill post more photos as I start to build.
