Hey guys, I have a teenage mutant ninja turtles pcb that is fully working but the sound seems a bit funny. It also appears to be missing one of the dip switch boxes on the board. Its missing the small one on the right. The game itself plays fine, but the music seems weird which is why I'm selling it for 55 shipped. When you first power the game on, you dont hear the tmnt theme song, which may be a dip switch setting, but I am not sure. Feel free to ask any questions, thanks! -Jason

This is a dip switch setting in bank 2, switch 8. On = attract sound, off = none.
If you are missing the small dip switch bank, that one controls video flip and test mode.

Do you hear the "Cowabunga" when you coin up?

Yeah, I hear cowabunga, and you hear the music and sound effects, but for some reason they sound strange, as if its only sending out one channel of audio (left but no right) I'm really not sure what it is, hence the asking price on it. Other than that, it plays just fine. I played it in my xmen cabinet all the time without a problem at all. I post a few pictures up as well..

I've seen other turtles boards that do that exact same thing, it may not be a big deal, I've just never tried to fix one.

Also a new dipswitch is easy to install, it's like a dollar. You could steal one off a parts board too if you bought this one.

I'm surprised nobody's came up with a guide how to fix these sound issues, they're pretty common on turtles boards, and I don't think it's a huge problem that can't be repaired, or something as bad as the X-men problems.

I know it's sold but figured I would mention that TMNT was a mono game... The cab has only one speaker (I gots one).

Simpsons and others seemed to be stereo.
