Some of you may have seen my thread that I'm building a custom 4 player cab with the 90's classics in it.

I am about ready to fire this thing up! My monitor should be fix by next week, and ready to use it next weekend! But there is a problem....

There is NOTHING in the cab area where the monitor is suppose to go. I can take pictures in a bit, but I need help from someone who has ideas, OR has a TMNT cab that they wouldn't mind sharing some measurments from or taking some pictures for me.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!!!!!

your prolly missing the metal brackets that bolt to the side? (not sure if konami cabs have the same as midway ones i never looked for that) there should be 2 bolt holes through the side for each one (8 bolts in total) if they're the same, otherwise you could probably bolt it to some wood blocks that you'd have to secure extremely well.

the brackets could still be on your monitor i suppose?

Brackets are NOT on the monitor, as he got the monitor separately. I need to look around, as I might have some of those around somewhere....

I've got an original 4 player Konami cab in the garage and I'd be glad to take any monitor measurements you need. Just let me know

THat would be excellent!! I"m not sure what to reference as a starting point.

I just noticed I put this in the restoration section, Feel free to move this thread to the repair/help area!

Sorry for the delay and how ghetto these diagrams are, but I took a few pics of my cabinet and monitor mount from the front to get you started. If you need anything more intricate or specific let me know, otherwise let the crappy photoshop arrows commence!

A.) Monitor area - 27" wide
B.) Bottom Support beam -1 3/4" high x 27" wide x 3/4" thick
C.) Top support beam - 4 1/8" high x 27" wide x 3/4" thick
D.) Vertical distance between beams - 18 1/2"
E.) Bolt distance from edges - 3 13/16"

Hope this helps enough to get you started

AWW!! Thanks so much for the effort!!!!!

I ended up making a custom mount, but I will check your measurements against what I installed and see how close I was!

THANKS SO MUCH!!

My original Konami TMNT cabinet does not have metal mounting brackets attached to the cabinet. It has a shelf mount monitor on top of the wood shelf attached in a slot between the 2 sides., may not be original but the bezel certainly fits.

Yup, Mine too.. In fact, I found a snapshot of the actual shelf once removed from the cabinet..
