TM-202G No B+ Question about Transistors 801 and 802
So I'm trying to fix a dead tm-202g...I have no B+. I do have 123vac at both side of fuse 002. I'm looking through the manual and Q801 and 802 catch my eye as the possible problem. Since i did cap the monitor i though I would just replace them. The schematics call for Q801 to be SD2692 which it is an available from Bob Roberts. Q802 calls for 2SC1437nc, 2sc1573, or 2sc1941 but the monitor has a 2sd649. Now BR doesn't have listed the 2sd649 nor does he have any of the cross reference parts I found.
Now here come the questions..
On both transistors pin 1 = e, 2 = b, 3 = c (case) I know there's a way to test them using the diode test with the DMM. Can someone point me in the right direction?
Is it possible that Q802 has the wrong part installed? The game did work untill a couple days ago...then the monitor went dead.
Anything else I can test to try to get monitor back?
Thanks!
