Title Page Problems: Rowe / AMI Saturn II Jukebox CD100-J

I am having a problem with the title pages, when I hit the directional errors on the control pad, I can hear the motor whirring but nothing happens. I hit one arrow, I hear the motor, then the other I hear it again.

The hand wheel is stuck rock solid as well. I'm assuming it's the title page motor (if that's even the name), but again do not know. I put the title page assy into service position and realized whoever had this jukebox before me never removed the shipping screws.

I disassembled both sides of the title page mech and once I removed the parts that directly came in contact with the motor, the hand wheel spun freely and the entire mechanism was able to move back and forth.

I removed and checked the title pages, they seem to be in great condition.

Does anyone know what's happening or how to fix this? I've searched this forum and can not find anything with a similar problem.

thank you.

Sounds like something jammed. It's not the motor, since you can hear it humming when you push a button. You may have stripped a plastic gear. The service manual walks you through this difficult job. Make sure both sides are timed properly. I lube mine with grease.
