Tips when finding old games in storage?

My sister just called me and said "remember that friend of mine I told you about in the arcade business? He said he has a warehouse filled with hundred's of games. He said let him know what you are looking for"

:eek::eek::eek:

yep, got a guy about a half hour from me that used to be in the arcade business, has a warehouse with about a hundred games in it. Unfortunately, his non working games are worth about $300 apiece, and the price goes up from there. Hes had them on CL for over a year now with no sales:001_ssuprised:

Yes operators seem to think that their old machines are worth at least $300. Times change.

I had no idea a post like this was like throwing meat at Lions. Hell, You've got me excited now!

Thanks for al the tips. I'll have to wait a few weeks to solve the mystery b/c I'm going out of town. I promise to post pics/follow up!

Strike while the iron is hot man! Early bird gets the worm. You snooze you lose!

Seriously, a lot of times people change their mind or throw them away because they don't want to wait. And your interest may remind them that they need to do something about all those games in that shed, and maybe they might be worth a lot of money (not).

What ever happened with that vectorbeam Warrior?

It's still sitting in my garage in one piece. I might be selling it to a fellow collector. There is a chance it may get parted out, only because i now know of 2 incomplete Warriors that could be saved and this cabinet is a total loss.

That's awesome and sucks all at the same time I would really like to play that game one day. Now that's one I would buy if they did a circuit board Reproduction run on it. So I'm guessing it doesn't work at all at this stage in the game.
