LOVE the product! I made a mini neo-geo last summer out of love for my then unborn son, and tried selling it (mineoarcade.com) but it never really took off. I understand the wanting to move on to other creative projects, good luck!

The uncrate.com crowd is probably more the market for these, btw... if you bump the price another $200 US! =)

Thanks for the heads up on uncrate.com. Nice Mini cab by the way, how many did you end up selling?.

Actually, I never intended to make and sell these. I initially made a youtube video on the first one I made which was also a bit of a how to make it vid. In the next few weeks the vid hit every tech site I knew of all over the world including engadget and gizmodo (dont ask me how this happened - no idea). I was flooded with emails from people wanting me to make them one, which is why I made the first batch. That was to be the end of it until more people wanted them including those that purchased one already. So I thought Id post a for sale post here and there on the retro sites I was part of. I have sold more but I have had enough. Its keeping me from projects I have long planned. After this batch that will be it. Then it will be more projects that fill the house to my wifes dismay and answering everyone else's daily "please help me" emails .

Cool product, thanks for sharing. I did not expect the negativity on this thread. I second the thought that a kit might find a warmer reception since this is largely a DIY crowd.

Guys, Guys, Guys. This is the for sale area and he has something for sale. Why are you jumping on his for sale thread.

Someone out there may want one of these.

I agree either they will sell or not, this is the for sale section. No need for jumping the guy, like one member said we don't spend that much on real games so we will see how he does. They are cool and he put a lot of work into these so maybe someone here would like one. Good luck

number one.. i love the way you designed the mini arcade.

number two.. when powering up and first thing i saw "gameboy" everything turns into 99 cents machine!.

I have one or two GBsp around in my house and I never use them.

number three.. how about you selling just bare bone cabinet with no gba inside. for like 50 buck each shipped.. im pretty sure you will get 1,000 customers!... overwhelming maybe!.

Too tought to make.. yes maybe. but after you make first 10 and you become too comfortable and can finish assemble in like 5 mins each. and tape it up etc.. overall 15 mins with out worrying about inserting the GBsp?

just my 2 cent.

no offense..

other thing i would go after this instead

yes the price for the mini cab ($300+shipping) scares KLOV!...

Nice hobby on the side!.

As per my edited first post, I have now stopped selling these as the second (and final) batch is now full. However, if you would like a kit as some have suggested let me know as per the suggestions in my edited first post..

You can get these mini arcades from China for about $150 delivered

Yes but those are made in CHINA, and his is made in AUSTRALIA. I would rather send my money Australia any day!

Regardless... I like em. I think it's a cool idea. For like $50 - 75 I would buy one. But I realize they cost much more to make. Pretty cool to see.

Welcome to KLOV, I saw the DK machine that was made...not sure if it was yours but that was amazing. There might not be a ton of interest, but hey who knows a sale is a sale.

And again welcome...we are a community in that we want people to be a part of it, just not profit from it. That might explain a few folks jumping in your ass. Don't get me wrong it doesn't excuse it, but I thought I would explain it.

So if you're on KLOV you're either a bastard, a jerk, or stuffmonger? :/ I'm a semi-rich bastard who acts like a poor jerk. :D

Not what I had meant exactly. I was stating that I was more akin to a cheap bastard. I am no exception to the state of being.

Please keep on moving, dont use this site just to sell your items
$305 USD + shipping? For a 7" fake arcade game with a GBA SP in it?
I hope you do have other plans for your membership cause I don't see those selling here.

In other words... Welcome to KLOV.

You'll soon learn, if you've been here a few years, it's ok to ask twice what something is worth.

If your new here, how dare you try to make money from us!!!
Good luck with your sales.
