I have been looking around for a year to try and snag a Sega Time Traveler game...if I didn't play it as a kid I would be hard pressed to believe they ever existed since they are never for sale....Is this game that hard to track down? I don't even know what these things should cost because I have never seen one come up.

It was
a) huge and bulky
b) not able to be converted into another game when profits died down

I'd guess many were busted up and dumped. I've yet to run across one for sale.

I remember playing this one when I was a kid. It could be converted to a fighting game (not a good one, but a fighting game).

EDIT: The game was called Holosseum

There is a Holloseum for sale on our local Craigslist for the last 3 years. I've been tempted to buy it, but I really only liked Time Traveler myself. To find parts to deconvert it back to a Time Traveler would probably be next to impossible.

Be patient, and keep looking. You will find one.

And you shouldn't have to sell the ranch to buy it, either.

There is one starting at $1 on ebay right now. One sold a hr away from me a few months ago on ebay for around $100. Set up your ebay account to email you when listings pop up.

Awesome. Spelled "hologram" wrong and didn't even put the word arcade in his listing. That should do *really* well. Good thing for him he has a reserve.

I know it's like "I'd buy that for a dollar"...unfortunately for me space and money are in short supply at the moment.

I have a Time Traveler..got it from a fellow KLOV member and had to have it shipped. I probably paid too much for it..but .. sometimes you do what you gotta to get what you want.

I just played one here in Columbus at that warehouse sale. Some minor issues with the laminate but otherwise looked and played well. Gave me a migraine though. Not sure if it sold or not. Call this guy to see if its still there if you are interested in coming down to Ohio for one. Bob 614-571-0661.

It was sold the day of their last open house
