I'll be honest, I thought I was going to keep this one forever- but the pinball bug, she's bitten me hard, so a couple more have to go. This is the very machine that was featured in Gozer's new book (hence the "pose-y" first pic).

Here's your chance to pick up an extremely rare one: Sega Time Traveler from 1991. This is the one that all the kids lined up to play. I was one of them. One of the coolest looking games ever. Every time I have people over, they comment on how awesome it looks and how they remember it from back in the day. Even the border guard when I took it from CA to AZ reminisced and chatted with me about it for a few minutes. It's a head-turner, to say the least.

The game works 100% and looks good. The cabinet has some bumps and bruises on the sides in the formica (very common with TT), but is in overall good shape. Some of the stage blocks were missing when I bought it, so I made new ones out of foam and painted them with UV reactive paint. They glow even better than the original wood blocks. All of the cabinet/CP decals are intact, which isn't common with this game.

$750 cash or paypal gift (or please cover the fee is you'd rather go non-gift). I'll ship anywhere in the world, so long as you cover the cost and make the arrangements.

Nice I can't wait til we get one...It's bound to happen with as many as we see. I wondered what they are like to work on.

I forgot to mention that I also have an extra PCB for this game. They're not easy to find, so the buyer will have a spare.

this is my grail game.. i remember playing it growing up at a store near my parent lake house.

what great times i had on that thing.

if the thing wasnt across the country i would drive it...looks bigger than i remember :)

good luck on the sell and if you decide to lower the price to where its reasonable to ship the thing let me know.

I have never shipped a game or thought i would ship a game but this i would pay for it.

again good luck... sorry i just keep typing trying to figure out how to get it..

sad

but again good luck

Hi Dave, that is a bitchin' game. I played one for the first time at CAX and if I were closer I'd consider it. Don't you hate those 'closer' posts? But anyway, good luck on the sale, those are neat machines.

do you happen to have the dimensions of all of the blocks?

Not off the top of my head. The blocks I have on my machine are not the originals. I bought these pre-cut at a craft store and painted them with UV reactive paint. I doubt they're the exact sizes of the originals, but I could measure them if you're interested.

I'm pretty sure game-restore.com has the dimensions of the originals if you wanted to make precise replicas.

I just need to come over to your house and play that thing. I'm pretty sure Castle's 'N Coasters had either that one or Holosseum back in the day.

which craft store did you get them at? They look pretty darn good

Castles 'N Coasters had one back in the day. That's where I played it for the first time. I remember exactly where it was in the arcade. It was right at the bottom of "the pit" when you first walk in. I think there's a big multicade sitting there now. I remember the line for Time Traveler was usually several people deep.

If you want to play it, you're welcome to come over and take it for a spin.

Thanks! I think it was Hobby Lobby. The foam blocks are woodgrain, so they totally look like real wood when painted. You can't tell the difference unless you pick them up.

I will forward this post to a hard core collector and good friend of mine subarubrat. If I remember correctly he was looking for one of these working and in good condition.
