Hello everyone,
I am trying to resurrect my Time Traveler from the grave. My Dexter board arrived last week, and for the first time since since I have owned the game, there is life again in the cabinet. At the moment I received a C10000 Exx error every few minutes. Can anyone point me in the correct direction?
Background
I purchased a gutted cabinet many years ago that came with the laserdisc, cabinet, partial wiring, and reflective dome. Since then, I have purchased 2 main logic boards and a pile of laserdisc players that all died during shipping. I recently got a LDP-1550 for it but I could never get the board and LDP talking correctly. I had error messages about initialization on the screen and the error just looped while the LD played from beginning to end (I set the LD switch correctly to the Sony as opposed to the Pioneer). I still need to make a new wiring harness for the control panel and volume / test.
I attached the Dexter board this past weekend, and now everything initializes correctly. The system tells me I have a sony player attached, initializes and reports back high scores on the games, cost per # of lives, etc.... The system will run briefly, then the video will pause, toss up the C10000 Exx error with the Exx incrementing (E10, E20, etc...), and then continue on. I can't coin it up yet since I still need to finish the harness.
I am going to swap out the main logic board tonight once I find my duplicate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the help
Brian
