SOLD - GAME Time Traveler 1991 sega Socal

21 plays tells you all you need to know about Time Traveler gameplay, but it's still an awesome looking game. Wish this technology had taken off and we got other holographic games, I remember seeing this as a kid and being blown away (visually and financially.)

The game rocks. 21 is probably factory testing or GTE not knowing how to load with test button.

Had this been on location the owner would have been really upside-down with only 7 plays ( $0.75 factory default)

Used to play this quite a bit at my local mall. Good memories. It filled the void left by my inability to play Dragons Lair more than a few times

I remember seeing this at a local arcade in south Texas. I dont remember if they ever converted it to a Holosseum, but I know I played TT a few times and didn't really get very far. Still tho, quite a significant item. GLWTS.

I know someone who has one of these sitting in their backyard on the covered porch under a tarp.

Someone owed him some money and they gave it to him. All original still with the same TV in it.

Oh, and it's not for sale...

You can see and play both versions at Galloping Ghost Arcade if you are ever in Northern Illinois.
from what I heard from a recent trip, you can see 'em, but ya can't play 'em. Down down down they were.

They were both up and running on my last trip. They do tend to be the proverbial high maintenance.

When I was at Galloping Ghosts in May of 2022, Time Traveler was there and turned on and "working" but the controls were all messed up.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the games there. Like it's awesome they have so many games and stuff, but I'd say like 75% or more of them are not working as they should be. Whether it's sound, monitors, or controls, the majority of the games weren't completely working.

It was still a neat place to check out.

Yes. The hologram games were in rough shape when I was there.

Shame to hear but understandable. Doc needs 5 full time techs at a minimum and finding good help or funding is extremely difficult.
I see the hall of fame is going to get some extra hands this month, I can only hope the volunteers can keep going and make it great again.
