I need to check. Now when I power on the machine with the board installed and hooked up I have coils firing and it acts flakey. If I unhook the sound board, remove the batteries, and power cycle the machine, it gets back to normal and works fine with no problems. So somewhere along the line with all my fiddling, I messed up something bad enough that I can't even hook up the sound board anymore.
Time to give up?
